Fall is the most ideal time of the year to plant trees in North Texas giving trees an advantage to develop their root systems before the hot weather arrives next summer. The City of Plano celebrates tree planting with the annual Arbor Day Celebration in early November.
The Arbor Day Run 5k/10k and Hike is the perfect way for your family to enjoy Oak Point Park, surrounded by picturesque trees! Come and celebrate with the Plano Parks Foundation; it doesn’t matter if you’re a walker, like to stroll or run.
